Conclusion
When men first sailed to the Rock of Gibraltar, they thought it was the end of the world. So they chiseled the Latin words, “ne plus ultra”–no more beyond. But when they charted other islands, they chiseled away the “ne” and left the “more beyond.” So our Lord has gone through the hall of death and came out, and we know that there is “plus ultra”–more beyond.
