B. After judgment and cleansing, the Lord Jesus will establish His 1,000-yr reign on the earth.
The Happiness of the Millennial Kingdom, vv. 1-5
A. Jerusalem will be the capitol of the Kingdom, v. 2.
B. The Whole World will submit to the Lordship of Christ, v. 3.
1. The administration of the law will “go forth.”
2. The center of Worship will be the Temple Mount.
3. Peace and righteousness will result by the rule of Law, v. 4.
C. Israel will no longer walk in spiritual darkness/blindness. They will know their Messiah Jesus.
D. The sins that now prevent Israel from walking in the Light of the Lord:
1. False gods captivated their attention, v. 6.
2. False gods of wealth and materialism captured their attention, v. 7.
3. False god of self-worship, vv. 8-9.
The Horror of the Day of the Lord, vv. 10-22
A. The Millennial Kingdom begins with Judgment and fear, v. 10.
B. The Lord Christ alone will be glorified, v. 11.
C. “The Lord of hosts” = Lord Sabaoth–>Commander of a Massive Heavenly Army, v. 12.
D. Everyone who rejected Christ will hide their pride, false gods, and themselves, thinking they can escape His judgment, vv. 19-21.
