B. The Holy Spirit’s Indwelling Ministry Was Temporary.
- Samson was enabled by the Spirit until God withdrew the Spirit, Judges 16:20
- The Spirit came upon Saul mightily, and then withdrew, 1 Samuel 16:14.
- After his sin, David pleaded with God not to withdraw His Spirit from him, Psalm 51:11.
