Faithfulness

Faithfulness in little things is a great thing.

Use what talents you possess. The woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except the nightingales.

Dependability has a much more satisfactory market than cleverness.

What one is in little things he is also in great.

Attendance is not for the building of records but for the building of Christians.

I would rather be a watchdog than an indifferent shepherd.

God does not ask how many talents one has; He asks for faithfulness.

One thing that is worse than a quitter is the man who is afraid to begin.

The consciousness of duty does give us music at midnight.

We rate ability in men by what they finish, not by what they attempt.

It is better to be faithful than to be famous.

If one expects to answer “when the roll is called up yonder,” he had better be present when the roll is called down here.

You may depend on the Lord, but can He depend on you?

The world crowns success. God crowns faithfulness.

If you consistently do your best, the worst cannot happen.

Man measures success by numbers; God measures success by faithfulness.

Your faithfulness is the yardstick of your faith.

The reward of a task well done is being called to a bigger task.

When faithfulness is most difficult, it is most rewarding.

Our problem is not inability but inconsistency.

Every spiritual investment bears eternal interest.

In God’s book of remembrance, faithful and famous are one word.
